In terms of public security, low-light TV can be used to form a monitoring and alarm system to conduct real-time long-distance nighttime monitoring and alarming for airports, banks, archives, cultural relics halls, important organs, military warehouses, etc.

The contribution of low-light TV to human vision in extending the airspace, extending the time domain, and widening the frequency domain is similar to that of low-light night vision devices. At the same time, low-light TV has some new features:

1) It makes human vision break through the limitation of having to face the scene to make effective observation.

2) The restriction that people and night vision equipment are required to be in the same place is abrupt, and the observation away from the instrument site is realized.

3) Image processing can be implemented to improve visibility.

7) Because it can remotely control the camera, the concealment is better. Its disadvantages are:

1) The price is high, which limits the large-scale equipment troops.

2) It consumes a lot of power, and the volume and weight are large.

3) The operation and maintenance are more complicated, which affects its popularization and application.
