Image tubes and image intensifiers in night vision instruments require high energy to complete the task of image enhancement. This energy is provided by a high-voltage power supply. The infrared image tube in the active night vision instrument needs a working voltage ranging from 12 to 29 kV, while the image intensifier needs a working voltage of several thousand to tens of thousands of volts.
The main requirements of the direct vision night vision system for the high voltage power supply are:
1) Provide the required stable DC high voltage for the photoelectric imaging device, so that the imaging tube can maintain a suitable output brightness under actual working conditions.
2) The performance is stable, and the instrument can work normally under high and low temperature environment. 3) Moisture-proof, shock-proof, small size, light weight and low power consumption.
